The Mencap calendar produced in 2007 was created under the ICONS theme, through the eyes and talents of people with learning disabilities. Each picture has been drawn by a person with a learning disability, and was chosen to represent one month in the calendar. On this page, you can explore these artworks in more detail and read what the artists had to say about their works.
Dame Judi Dench
I am delighted to be able to support the project that Mencap is running in association with ICONS of England. A calendar of art by children with a learning disability is a wonderful way to include the people that Mencap works so hard to help.
