A 007 fan has opened a museum dedicated to the films of secret agent James Bond.
Dentist Peter Nelson, a dedicated fan who has spent the last 20 years acquiring vast and impressive memorabilia from the popular film series, opened the Bond Museum in Keswick, Cumbria.
The museum features a host of vehicles and gadgets used in the films, including the convertible Triumph Stag driven by Sean Connery in Diamonds Are Forever and the Lotus Esprit Turbo from The Spy Who Loved Me.
Also on show are the original Colibri gun from The Man with the Golden Gun and a Russian T55 battle tank from GoldenEye, famously driven through a brick wall by Pierce Brosnan.
Mr Nelson, who also runs a ‘Car of the Stars’ motor museum, acquired the memorabilia through auctions and donations from Bond filmmakers EON, the cast and crew from the films.
The opening of the museum on April 5 2009 was to coincide with the anniversary of the birth of Albert Broccoli, the producer of the original Bond films.
