Comment on The Argos Catalogue

My daughter is disabled and she really loves looking through the Argos catalogue, but she has trouble turning the pages. I'm after a laminated catalogue like those in store but not had much luck so far...

Everyone my age must have sat with their siblings during the weeks before Christmas flicking through the toy pages deciding what to ask 'Father Christmas' for!

The argos catalogue is an icon that has a continuity and breadth of exposure that the other nominations lack It's audience spans race, religion, culture and class. From kids preparing christmas lists to oaps drooling over silverware. From the broke looking for the cheapest toaster in the western world to the wealthy who publicly sniff their noses but secretly keep one under their bed for private entertainment. It's simply an institution like the NHS or 'Coro'.

This should be an icon for the huge and forever growing variety offered at such fantastic prices along with being so easy to order from , they also offer a very reliable service. The Argos catalogue can be used and appeals to virtually anyone.
