Eden Project
Cloud Chamber
In 2002, artist Chris Drury and a team of Cornish hedge builders, constructed a ‘cloud chamber’ in the Wild Cornwall area of the Eden Project. The 15 feet high chamber projected movements of clouds overhead onto a white disc on the floor. Roger Clemens has been building Cornish hedges since 1958 – they are actually built from a mixture of earth and stone!
Wind Energy
The Eden Project uses Green Tariff Electricity – the energy comes from one of the many wind turbines in Cornwall which were among the first in Europe.
