A Call to Faith
During televised live FA Cup matches, you are quite likely to see an evangelical Christian or two in the crowd holding up a sign reading "John 3:16" as a call to faith. In the King James Bible, the relevant passage reads: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
