Holbein's Henry VIII

Comment on Holbein's Henry VIII

Although you quite rightly say that the original was destroyed in the Palace of Whitehall fire you do not mention anywhere that Holbein's original full size cartoon (preliminary drawing) for the portrait is in the National Portrait Gallery and is one of the greatest art treasures in Britain. Surely it would be better to use this as the 'icon', while of course referring people to the various copies around the country.
