Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Comment on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

This critically acclaimed album led the way in music, from the album cover to the songs, the lyrics and the recording and sound techniques that the Beatles pioneered. It is a brilliant album, and stands alone from all the other Beatles albums for the reasons mentioned above.

"Lovely Rita Meter Maid" is a very beautiful song of the Beatles, and at the same time a reminder that authority in form of a lovely maiden impresses and influences us more than authority in any other form.

I think, that an icon should be directly creativity of «The Beatles» as a whole. The album «Sgt. Pepper?s Lonely Hearts Club Band» is only part of creativity of the famous quartet. This album one of the most known, or even the most known in creativity of the group. But then an icon could become and song «Yesterday», or «All you need is love». The main is that «The Beatles» is unique phenomenon in musical culture of England rendered improbable influence on development of world musical culture. It is not necessary to separate a part from whole. An icon ? the group and its creativity or «The Beatles?s music».
