- Join a Sherlock Holmes society. The Sherlock Holmes Society of London, for example, welcomes over-16s and there are societies scattered all over the world. - Holmes once told Watson cryptically about the "giant rat of
Sumatra". The terrible truth about the creature, Holmes said, was one
"for which the world is not yet prepared"… Try writing about your image of this scary giant rat, or drawing a picture - and send us your creations here
- Write a letter to Holmes at 221b Baker Street, the address of the Sherlock Holmes Museum.
- Watch one of the many films and TV series about the famous detective, or one of its many successors.
