Most people who have seen "The Italian Job" must have fantasised about nipping down a flight of steps in a Mini, and who can blame them? Both the original car and its successor, the BMW MINI, have made big screen appearances in passing or as major story elements, often becoming the most iconic part of a movie.
Interview: Mini Enthusiast Jo Marachek
Jo Marachek is a Mini fanatic. His parents bought their first Mini in 1960, and Jo later learned to drive in one. He has owned a classic Mini and has recently bought one of the new MINI Coopers made by BMW. During the July 2006 heatwave, ICONS interviewed him during a drive over the Sussex Downs.
