John Lennon's Childhood Home

John Lennon lived at Mendips with his Aunt Mimi and Uncle George. This was where his passion for music began and where some of his early songs were written. The house (now owned by the National Trust) evokes the time he spent here during his formative years.

March 22-October 29: Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. Admission by guided tour only. Four tours depart on days open to the public. Booking essential.
