Created in 1996, the Great Promenade Show is an outdoor exhibition of ten sculptures by some of the UK’s leading artists and designers celebrating the uniqueness of Blackpool. Described as “amusing, awe-inspiring and challenging”, all of the exhibits make the viewer think about what Blackpool is known for – such as the illuminations, the Ballroom, the dirty weekend, the Circus and the freak shows of Victorian Blackpool.
