Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron

This museum celebrates the history of early iron making. The furnace at Coalbrookdale produced plentiful cheap cast iron, used for the manufacture of cooking pots, iron wheels, iron rails and ultimately the world's first cast iron bridge. The top floor shows a collection of fine art casting.
