Darby Houses

The Darby Family managed the Coalbrookdale Ironworks for five generations. Business links with other Quaker families were cemented by marriage, with members of the Ford and Reynolds family marrying into the Darby dynasty. Here you can find out more about the business, home and religious lives of some of the people who helped to make the Coalbrookdale ironworks so famous.
