Thank you for this lovely nomination and comments. In economics they taught me that basically a country and its people work for the strength of their currency. The strength of The Pound Sterling is INTENSELY BRITISH. Hands off the Pound. Say NO to Europe. Mean NO to Europe. "We will beat em on the beaches, we will beat em in the fields." Pound sterling is our historical currency. We should retain the pound as our unit of currency. We don't have much of which to remain proud - so let's at least hang on to the .
