Covent Garden

Covent Garden used to be the market of London. Cobblestoned streets, stalls and small shops overflowing with fruits and vegetables straight in from the country that morning. Shades of Eliza Doolittle. Now the market has gone, but the place is still full of life. Covent Garden is also the Opera House. And the opera is not just in the House. It's also out in the street, broadcast with a big screen to people outside, sitting at the cafe tables or on cushions and blankets on the ground, listening, for free, to the great singing.
