Bluebird

The numerous Bluebird cars and boats put together by the Campbells are a testament to the English spirit of ingenuity and innovation. The speed reached on its last fateful run of the Bluebird K7 on Coniston Water in 1967, in which Donald Campbell died, was 320mph. The current water speed record set in 1978 is only 317mph, again a great testament to English engineering.
