Ferguson TE20 Tractor

I would like to nominate the Ferguson Model TE20 tractor as an English icon. That "Little Grey Fergie" designed by Harry Ferguson. The "TE" of the model identification being derived from "Tractor England". Although I am not old enough to remember the producation years of these machines, I do have happy memories of this "icon". My first experience of solo driving was gained on one such machine. The ease of use and enduring robust nature of machine and implements provide examples of the "good old days" when things were made to last. The "Little Grey Fergie" is easily recognisable by its profile and "iconic" grey paintwork. The shade of paint affectionately known as "Fergie Grey".
