Greenwich Park

Is this an icon?

or

Greenwich Park

Greenwich Park is London in microcosm. One of the most beautiful Royal Parks and part of the World Heritage Site. It manages to be part of the local community - swing parks, cafes, beautiful flowers, cricket pitches, deer - while providing the setting for national treasures like the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, Queen's House and the Meridian Line. Combine that with the most spectacular views across the Thames, and it has to be an icon.
