Only Fools and Horses

'Only Fools and Horses' was voted the best situation comedy of all time in a poll in 2004. The BBC series, written by John Sullivan, was first aired in 1981 and took some time to achieve the cult status it has today. The main characters are Derek Trotter (Del Boy), his brother Rodney and their grandfather who share a flat in Peckham, South London. Del Boy is a market trader who is always on the look-out for a deal to make a quick financial killing. Part of the success of the series is also due to the cast of characters who surround the central players. The comedy series is largely responsible for the fame of actor Sir David Jason who plays Del Boy and Nicholas Lyndhurst who plays Rodney. The last show broadcast was the Christmas Special in 2003.

The adventures of del boy and rodney is a great comedy show you can watch over and over again and still gets loads of laughs.
