Red Arrows

Simply because they are instantly recognisable as the best display team in the world. Their foreign tours have always been spectacularly received wherever they go, and also they stand for our aircraft industry and the quality of RAF training, both the best in the world.

The Red Arrows are part of the RAF which is British. Since tax payers from all parts of the UK fund them they are not English but Welsh and Scottish and Irish too.

Other display teams change their formations out of sight of the crowd, the Arrows move their formations in front of the crowd, the nine to the vulcan to the concorde. This is what makes them the display team to watch.
