The Co-operative Movement

I was born and brought up in Rochdale, birthplace of the Co-operative Movement. The Co-op is a national institution and its ideals are found all over the world. We should be proud of the lasting global heritage of co-operative living and working, which a small group of Lancashire cotton mill workers bequeathed to this nation.
