Wicca

The only religion that England has given to the world and a breath of fresh air amongst all organised religions of the world. A thing of joy, love and oneness with Nature, not authoritarian or stuffy, not bogged down by dogma, not a stick to beat the masses with. Blessed Be!

Wicca is not really "English". It contains far more of the Celtic influence than of the Anglo-Saxon. In place of this, I would say instead modern Heathen organizations such as the Odinic Rite represent the only truly English religion, with the worship of Woden, Thunor, Tiw and the other English gods.

I have been a Wiccan Practioner for 22 years and agree with the comments made by Paul Weatherly. There is nothing sinister about Wicca. It is about being one with Nature, the role of both male and female gods/goddesses. It is about channelling energy for the greater good. BB
