Surrey History Centre

The centre collects and preserves archives and printed material relating to all aspects of the history of Surrey, including some relating to "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland" author Lewis Carroll, who died at The Chestnuts, his family’s home in Guildford, Surrey, in 1898.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am-5pm. Thursdays, 9.30am-7.30pm. Saturdays, 9.30am-4pm. Closed Mondays, Sundays, Bank Holiday Mondays and preceding Saturdays, and the first two weeks of December

Free. You will need a Surrey County Libraries ticket or official identification
